University of Michigan grad LeeAnn Baker always knew she wanted to go into nuclear energy – so no one is more surprised than Baker that she has transitioned from nuclear engineer and is now happily making her living in software development.
“I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got the job at Nexient,” said Baker. “I’m pleased to say it’s more than I could have ever hoped for.”

Two projects expected to create 279 new, well-paying jobs and generate a total private investment of $27.2 million in the Ann Arbor region have received support from the Michigan Strategic Fund, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced today.
